The Dogwood Invitational at Druid Hills Golf Club, held since 1941, is ranked as the 16th amateur golf tournament in the nation, and the 27th in the world. The rankings, compiled annually by the highly-regarded Scratch Players World Amateur Rankings organization, surveys more than 300 worldwide tournaments in its quest to name the top tournaments.
In 2010, The Dogwood had six of the world’s top 20 amateur golfers in the field. Those six competed against a roster of 87 players for the coveted Dogwood Invitational trophy, which was won by Andrew Yun of Stanford University.
